Overview
Designed for the true adventurer, the Jomolhari Base Camp Trek is one of Bhutan’s most spectacular and rewarding trekking routes. This 10-day expedition takes you deep into the Jigme Dorji National Park, a pristine sanctuary of high-altitude ecosystems. You will trek through dense pine and rhododendron forests, cross glacial streams, and arrive at the base of Mount Jomolhari (7,326m), the sacred mountain of the Goddess Jomo.
Beyond the sheer physical thrill of trekking in the Himalayas, this journey offers intimate glimpses into the lives of remote yak-herding communities. You’ll camp under incredibly clear, star-studded skies and wake up to the sight of towering, snow-clad peaks. This trek requires a good level of physical fitness but promises memories that will last a lifetime.
